Hello, readers! Hope you are all doing well in this hot and humid summer.
It looks like we got lucky this week with Typhoon 6. It was pretty windy here in Osaka yesterday afternoon with on-and-off rain, but otherwise not so bad. The worst part of usual typhoons in Osaka is the hot, muggy weather that they bring. That's quite minor compared to the potential damage they can cause, so we should be thankful that it's usually only that.

Thanks for your message. It looks like you are very busy, but it sounds like you are enjoying your life . . . except for the weather . . .
I don't mind the shorter days in autumn and winter. It's darker for more hours every day, but it feels very much like the Thanksgiving (the U.S. holiday) and Christmas season. I hope the holiday lights and decorations everywhere will cheer you up.
