Here's an easy little quiz to help you with the simple present tense (現在形) vs. the present continuous (現在進行形).

I'm not getting any comments from our loyal viewers, so I hope you'll send the answers in -- I'll check them and let you know how you did!

Thanks for your answers, and sorry for the late response!

Your answers are perfect . . . until numbers 4 and 5.

For #4, we need the dash and the "it" in the second part:

4. Excuse me, I have to answer the phone -- it is ringing in the other room.

And for #5, the phrase "these days" means a shorter time period, so ~ing is more natural:

5. What is Sunny doing these days?
